Important Tasks

By on March 3, 2015
Over the last month or so I have been working on 12 month plans with practice owners and managers that will significantly move them forward and get them closer to achieving their business and personal goals.

As part of the process we really dig in to the detail of how they spend their time and whether the tasks they do from day-to-day are helping them achieve those goals. It struck me that on 3 separate occasions last week I heard, “Oh dear, I have been spending quite a lot of time working on that, and it doesn’t even factor as important in the scheme of things does it?In practice, particularly where owners and managers are working in the business testing or dispensing – it is too easy to use the limited time they have got to complete the jobs they find most interesting or fun.

It is often the case that when people have a choice of actions they will tend to select the ones that are easy, fast, guaranteed to work and/or are cheap. But are they the tasks that will move them closer to their bigger goals?

Would you like to work through an easy to use tool which will help define which tasks you should be spending your time on? Would you like to know how to move the less important tasks on to someone else?

I am helping practice owners and managers do this all the time, and I can help you. Just book a complimentary 30 minute call using the button below and we can get started.
